Rapture

Thirteen year old Sarah, who claims her pregnancy to be an immaculate conception, tells her only friend, Michael, who is a young priest.

By forcing himself to believe Sarah’s shocking claim, Michael incurs the wrath of Sarah’s parents, his church superiors, the police and the community at large.

Backed into a corner, and tortured by memories of his own childhood, Michael is forced to take desperate measures, making matters even worse.
